From 22 to 26 April in Comarruga, Tarragona, Spain, a seminar was held of the project "Consensual - measures against sexual harassment" dedicated to prevent sexual violence among young people by piloting a training program aimed at developing interpersonal relationships and creating a gender-free environment.

At the beginning of November 2021, we initiated a campaign to raise funds for heating for the needs of the crisis center and the consulting program of the PULSE Foundation.

On 07.05.2022 (Saturday) on the territory of the village of Most, municipality of Kardzhali, at 02:00 p.m., charity moto-organization Widows Sons Grand Chapter Bulgaria & Masonic Riders Bulgaria, together with the PULSE Foundation and with the support and active participation of The mayor of the Municipality of Kardzhali, will implement their annual initiative to provide free medical examinations for health promotion and disease prevention in the settlements of Bulgaria.

Can a bilateral cooperation project in Bulgaria say something in general about the value of international cooperation regarding domestic and gender-based violence?

From December 2020 until February 2022, PULSE Foundation and the Centre for the Study of Democracy, both Bulgarian NGOs, together with the Norwegian non-profit foundation Human Rights Academy cooperated in a project about gender-based and domestic violence in Bulgaria. The aim was to develop a methodology for monitoring policy, legal instruments, and institutional practice in relation to such violence, and – by using the new methodology – to write a monitoring report about the current situation.
