Violence against women and girls remains a global problem that we face daily.

On November 21-22, 2024, a significant training session for specialists from the Kardzhali region was held at Glavatarski Han Complex. The event was organized as part of the "Trust for Our Children" project, funded by the Lachezar Tsotsorkov Foundation. It brought together 17 magistrates and lawyers representing the Prosecutor's Office, the District Court, and the Bar Association of Kardzhali, providing them with the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in working with children in conflict with the law.

Tiana Krăsteva: “The Voice of Youth in the Fight for Children's Rights”

In today’s world, where children's issues and child rights often take a back seat, there are few shining examples of young people who not only understand the importance of engagement but also take active steps toward change. One of these inspiring young leaders is Tiana Krаsteva – a volunteer at the Youth Club "То Be Friends" at the PULSE Foundation and the new Bulgarian representative in the Children’s Council of the international network Eurochild.

As part of the initiative "Together We Can Do More!", implemented under the project "Rights and Values" with the support of the European Union and the "Workshop for Civic Initiatives" foundation, our team held inspiring meetings and discussions with students and parents. Our main goal was to encourage them to recognize and prevent violence, oppose discrimination, and build healthier social connections.
