PULSE Foundation has launched the project "Center for Prevention and Rehabilitation of Victims and Perpetrators of Domestic Violence and their integration into the family and society.", which is implemented under a grant agreement with registration number 93-00-161/20/08.06.2020, concluded with the Ministry of Justice.

Implementation period: June-October 2020

Main objectives:

1. To optimize the work and efficiency of social services in cases of domestic violence, by creating conditions for equality and equal access to justice and highly qualified programs for rehabilitation and reintegration into society in small towns and places without open service.

2. To upgrade the program for psychological, social and legal support of perpetrators of domestic violence, based on a multidisciplinary approach to work (case management) and an operational inter-institutional network at national level.

3. Creating conditions for breaking the model of tolerance for domestic violence and its reproduction in communication between people and work towards the effective implementation of a national and international framework concerning the process.

Planned activities:

1. Rehabilitation programs for victims of violence. Mobile consulting offices in Breznik and Trun, Pernik District. Expanding the scope of work in Breznik and Trun, Pernik District and Kardzhali District.

- Crisis intervention

- Psychological consultations

- Social mediation

- Legal advice and litigation

2. "Program for counseling perpetrators of domestic violence"

- Family counseling - Psychological counseling for the couple, aimed at helping relatively healthy families to overcome common crises and prevent recurrence of domestic violence.

3. Awareness-raising and education activities for victims and perpetrators of domestic violence and civil society.

- Create a video clip;

- Online, sensitive and information campaign;

- Issuance of a brochure;

- Issuance of a Pocket Handbook for "Case Management" for professionals.
