On November 27, 2021, at the newly opened New People School, the PULSE Foundation and the Widow's Sons Masonic Riders Association signed a memorandum of cooperation and joint activities against violence.
During the event, the two organizations presented their main goals and activities, a vision for joint activities in the name of a future without violence.
„It is a great pleasure for me to be part of this initiative, in which our partners from the Widow's Sons Masonic Riders Association launch the New People School, which marks the start of a new beginning.
A new beginning of faith, the building of a world without violence, a world in which our children grow up cared for, surrounded by the unconditional love of their parents and loved ones.
We are extremely happy to partner with Widow's Sons, we are happy that together we can fulfill our hopes for a better life, a life that all people deserve - without violence, without fear.
We believe that our partners will be the ambassadors of peace who will spread this idea and together we will reach all parts of the country, all the people who need help.“, Mariana Evtimova, PULSE Foundation Executive Chairperson
The organizations envisage a wide variety of joint initiatives. The activities will be aimed at different groups of people - together we will increase public awareness and sensitivity on the topics of domestic violence, human trafficking, physical, mental and sexual violence. Prevention of violence will be a special focus of our partnership. Through joint initiatives, we will raise awareness of the problem and provide information on where people affected by violence can receive help and support.
„I am extremely happy and excited today. The idea came from our brothers in Mexico, who launched a campaign in support of victims of violence. Many thanks to the PULSE Foundation for responding to our call for partnership. At our joint meeting we decided to dedicate the next year to the fight against domestic violence. It is not right for women to fight violence alone. We men must fight, too.
Woman was created to be respected, not beaten. Today, we are reaching out to help victims of violence. With our hands wide open, we are joining forces with the PULSE Foundation. We are ready and will help, within our forces, to stop domestic violence - against women, children, men.“ Daniel Kapsazov, President of Widow's Sons Masonic Riders Association
